This is beyond comprehension. At 63 years of age. Living primarily on social security. Selling everything. Furnature Car etc....And leaving the U.S. these are good and nice solutions that will take decades to improve. I sympathize with this. But not willing to be a part of it.

How old is this video because I regularly watch the beach cam and I've never seen more than ten to fifteen people camped out

I could remember a time when homeless vagrants were simply arrested for trespass… if anything, jail time will give them time to get sober and hopefully make better choices after they get out of jail instead of the revolving days drugs and alcohol 😮

This is a heavy watch but an absolute masterclass in raw documentary filmmaking. The addiction epidemic hitting Venice Beach is heartbreaking, and your lens treats the situation with both harsh reality and human respect. It’s a gut-punch for my generation to see our iconic coastal towns struggle like this. Exceptional and deeply necessary work.

When you get done listening to your silly self talk....just say the truth...you can summarize this poorly made video with one word...."Drugs"...there would not be such a problem if it were not for the drugs...we all know that too. So shut up. Just tell folks what is wrong.

It's seems irrelevant who is in political power in the he system of California, as they all appear to be corrupt,. We have the same problem here in the UK, with MPs and councillors creating an increase in homelessness and illicit drug addiction in the big cities and towns of Britian, in particular coastal ones similar to a Venice Beach in LA that clearly attract those destitute seeking personal safety and social welfare in numbers. A Great and fascinating video, many thanks.
