Q: What about Honda's Turbo Petrol?? A: Honda City is very sporty. Q: Why is the Hybrid City so pricy? A: Customer needs to understand cost of ownership. Q: Where is sub 4m SUV?? A: 2028 Q: Why no Elevate Hybrid? A: EV bhai EV EV. Range, accuracy, Honda Honda.. Q: Why the Z-RV?? Why not name brands like Civic or Accord??? A: Comfort and practicality (like someone who spends that amount in India isn't looking for the snob value) Q: Will you launch more CBUs? A: Of course. If we feel like it. Q: Why don't you market the 10-year warranty properly?? A: We are proud of it. I mean wth?????? I'm sorry to say this but if the top management has such poor clarity, I am dreading Honda's future in India.
Purane Honda ban jao. In 2000s a Honda car and a sony product from sony centre used to be almost everyone's target!!!!!
despite Sundar paaji being very straightforward and asking such relevant questions, answers were very vague and “customer-deaf” 😅 was expecting better answers and urgency wrt to a Sub 4m SUV.
Now it's confirmed that Elevate Hybrid nahi aane wali.😢
It's so clear that he knows all these issues, but his hands are tied from his face expressions. I guess the Japanese Top Management people are micromanaging and controlling everything in India without giving freedom or trusting the managers here. They neither understand the Indian mindset, nor hear from Indians in the management, I guess.
Kahan Elevate Hybrid ke sapne dekh rha tha... EV ke sapne dikhake chuna laga diya :')
Well trained marketing guy but lacks in public relations. The Skoda guy was much better. 1. We are focused on driving experience but we are aiming for EV. 2. We have the best mechanical reliability but we are aiming for EV. 3. We have one of the best hybrid tech but we will pass that and aim for an EV. 4. Question: Why is your sub 4m suv segment empty for years? Answer: We will launch a car 2 years later. 5. Question: Why does honda does not provide turbo? Answer: Our product is sporty with CVT we just made it even sportier with connecting DRL and ivory interior. Like WTF is that?
IMHO, Honda is saying India is an important market for them but the commitment and strategy is simply missing. Compare with VW/SKODA the effort is visible with the India 2.0 strategy with the Kylaq and all the facelifts. I will make my point with my assessment of the interior of the facelift of City, EPB/AH could have been given in all CVTs, that useless arm rest in the rear could have been fixed and window shades could have been included as well and instrumental panel could have been upgraded to the 10.25 inch as offered in their global models, I think none of these things were hard to accommodate. The hybrid could have democratized from ZX onwards. The new infotainment is odd , but keeping in mind those AC vents, there was no other way. All such misses and 1 lac extra, the case is not just there at all.
0:16 Nice interview, No pleasing but straightforward hard questions which most avoids.
Excellent questions. Vague answers. Perhaps Honda doesn't realize what customers want, or there is no proper feedback. I am amazed at their Sales & Marketing. So clueless about the ground reality. Now, when a sub-4-meter and hybrid is the need of the hour, they bring the Z-RV, reportedly designed in China, at an immensely high price. Except for the badge, the front doesn't bear any resemblance to their current line, which would have helped the brand image. Then there's the price! The sub-4-meter is promised in 2028? The existing Elevate doesn't even have a factory-fitted 360° camera setup. At least the Elevate Hybrid should have been here by now. Honda, why so slow? Always very stubborn. Perhaps they need to learn from Škoda now. We Honda owners are still waiting for a good product. Even the Jazz would do well. Amaze looks great, but inside it lacks the premium feel. Seats are also not very comfortable. My 2010 Jazz is much more comfortable. I would request the Sales & Marketing team through you to go through feedback on the net, on the websites of so many communities. Is anybody listening?
Zero alpha ev car layenge thik hai, lekin honda wale elevate mai hybrid nahi laake blunder kar rahe hai easily hyryder/ grand vitara hybrid ka market capture kar sakte the!

This is how the brands talk under government pressure
