Small input. 'Strong' Hybrid is a India only thing which people wrongly use. The real usage is ; Mild Hybrid (say something like the Smart Hybrid of Maruti) , Hybrid (Camry , Vellfire , top model hycross , hyrider etc) , PhEV (from Mercedes to BYD lot of brands have this) , EV (all electric vehicles). Buying a car in 2027 , PhEV will be the way to go until solid state battery tech goes mainstream with a 800 plus driving range. This will happen round 2031 or 32 (when it may hit economy of scale)

Any sort of pollution is not welcome.. people need to start accepting EV is a fact. . They can't keep hiding their faces for long or keep being in denial by bringing PHev..
Phev is best as you explain but what about important tax? If jsw brings phev in India then it makes sense.
Wrong โฆphev dont qualify for 5% gst and some states are going to remove road tax exemptions to phevsโฆ.going to be very expensive

EVs have 5 percent gst ,hybrid 40 percent You use ev for 95 percent of the time ,in hybrids the oil change,maintaince becomes dead weight Better option ,get a small EV for daily commute,rent an ICE for trips
