I’ve owned multiple Tata vehicles over the years, and let me just share some real-world experience — not assumptions. Tata Tiago Petrol (2019) – 1.9 lakh km done, stock clutch & suspension, still running smooth. Tata Nexon Diesel (2021) – 90,000 km, all stock except tyres, no issues at all. Tata Nexon Creative+ PS (2026) – 7,800 km, just had its first service, flawless so far. Tata Indigo Diesel (2008) – Crossed 7 lakh+ km! Only major repair was after an accident where the radiator got damaged, causing engine seizure. Turbo and head gasket replaced. That’s it. The Indigo literally saved lives in a major accident where sadly, the occupants of a Brezza (front vehicle) didn’t survive. We walked away safe. So yeah, talk reliability when you’ve lived it. Tata has earned my respect — not just for durability, but also for safety.
