Whatever one says 1.8 lakhs for a scooter is too expensive. Ather might be the best among all the EV scooters but the price should not be beyond 1.5 lakhs for the top most variant on road. Value for money naam ki koi cheez hoti hai.
If there is any youtuber who should avoid giving long term Ather scooter reviews, you should be first in it. 8k KM in around 650 days which is such an low utilization for an EV. You have wasted so much electricity than driving it. Your use case is so low for a review. There are guys with 40k -50k KMs not doing show-off. I've watched your 450x long review too. I was like, heh? Just 15k KM in 5 years. How dumb must one be talking about EV whose usecase is so low. I ignored that video thinking it is one-off instance and here u r again boasting about Rizta with such low use case. I myself a 450x user with 17k KM in 2.5 years (which is also less in ROI perspective). I feel some times too much internet freedom is not helpful because idiots will fool innocents with their fancy gadgets and English skills. I usually comment in social media but here i felt the urge to stop people getting fooled.

5:20 , now ather is providing faster home chargers with rizta , mine gets charged in 5 hours , I think you have an older vehicle or using the 450x charger I bought rizta s 3.7 in Jan 2026 , it charges in 4.5 - 5 hours max

Then why does the company make false marketing claims, like 159 km and a top model, when in real life it ranges around 115-220? What's the point in buying a top model by paying an extra premium? That to the range is maximum in ECO mode 120.

Just got the Rizta like like 10days ago. S 2.7 low range model. A short 50km trip took 65% charge from 100-35. So i estimate 77ish full range for the specific scenario i rode through. Just took it out for a short 50k trip from my house to railway station 25kms away. Went in a bit of an hurry on a road with a bit harsh of driving to reach on time. So speeds routinely touched 70 and stayed at 60. With acceleration deceleration and weaving in between traffic with two people (say 90+95) and a bag and a backpack. The roads were rough but the ride was fun. I did feel the acceleration was lacking with two on board to cross trucks at times, but i could manage. Return was uneventful and efficient top speed was something like 63 and average stayed at 60ish. Went with 100% charge. Reached home with 35% left (you can only check battery percentage when plugging on the charger)
Sir, have you ever felt that the Rizta is more skid prone, especially if we dont turn ON the Coasting Regen ? My analysis so far (which I would love to run by you and get your inputs on): Even after we let go of the Accelerator, Rizta seems to maintains its speed for a few seconds and then decelerates very slowly. This makes us want to apply brakes and since Rizta doesnt have ABS it becomes prone to skidding. What do you say, sir ?
1:24 short ? Are u below 5'6 if u r 5'6 feet or above , then u have an average height ,or taller height in a 1.5 billion populated country. Global average height is 5'7 to 5'8.
The biggest let down of this vehicle is the 6 hours charging time.
Don't buy, don't buy , don't buy..you will regret. Own ather rizta z 2.9 for 1 year 9 months and it has fried 2 times in 5 days now. They have sold us a beta lemon product without 0 testing. My rizta shutdown and went blank. I towed it with my own money to SC in Ambattur Chennai 4 days back and got it today, they said some PCB issue. Got it home and mid way it restarted, somehow got it home. After 2 hours not starting again with blank screen. Don't know what to do now. Poor product sold by ather. Don't buy, don't buy, don't buy!!!!! please save your hard earned money...!!! Genuine issue....
Not a word about how cripplingly useless the scooter is without the extra 15k tech pack or whatever it is called.
