It’s really awesome you decided to save this car instead of letting it rot
2 door 1975 Malibu with a 350 was my first car back in 1988.
Don't change a thing on the exterior. Put some good seats in it, rebuild the 6 cyl, port the head and put a mild cam in it, EFI and turbo.overdrive transmission, and gear the rear right with a locker. Run some 15" steelies with hubcaps. It would be a great 12 second sleeper.
Im getting tears in my eyes. First car i have memory of was a 1976 Laguna in that same baby-crap green color. Simpler times, and better looking cars...
Soooooo happy it’s getting some well deserved restoration!!! I’ll never understand how anyone could let these gems just rot. 🤷♂️. And the 80s was a great decade to be alive! lol
Lol just love the way TV can make restoring some of these cars look like a cake walk, but this guy showed us what a pain in the butt it really is to work on these cars!
Wow! Awesome car and story! My first car was a '77 Malibu Classic. Same straight 6. I was ready to start restoring it when it got stolen and trashed. My dad had the '75 Malibu wagon 8 cylinder and it was a tank. Can't wait to watch the next episode! 👍🏻😊
WoW you are lucky to find that car ❤ that thing needs to be restored! 🥰😍
I love the humor on this channel... It comes in just when you least expect it😅😅
Fram is a Dr. Pepper can with toilet paper stuffed inside. Hilarious!!! And 1 ply paper at that!😂😂😂😁
GREAT car. Happy to see one of these getting some love. My first car was a '75. I think this one is a '74 model. The opera glass in the rear was a lot smaller on the '75s and up. LOVED mine, you'll love this one.
That's a cool car. I'd keep the straight six. Let's see more of it.
Nothing this world can throw at that 250 can kill it. It will outlive humanity. Not a bit surprised after sitting nearly 40 years it fired up immediately. Only got about 100 hp but it'll get you around lol
Absolutely love the GM Colonnades.
Nice! I remember driving a 70's Malibu. It had a 350 and we would wear a tire out doing a one wheel burnout!!
I am addicted to this channel.. Awesome projects, humor, and ingenuity. Scriber for life.
I don’t know anything about being a mechanic but your videos are so satisfying lol
I just love these old cars
Yes , the front seat pulls forward on an angle.
My best friend growing up had a ‘74. 4-door with a 350. Man that thing was a cruiser.
