I love that you don’t customize to crazy. Just putting on details like a real car have. For me that’s how you really customize the value👌🏻

About the paneling, maybe you could try a more liquid paint that just fills the gape, like the paneling paint used in Gunpla

Do you have an airbrush? I would consider it to give it a primer coat before the paint, it will have a more crisp and look overall better. Also I would recommend professional (tamiya is best) masking tape to really get smooth straight lines 😅
