Old School meets New School with this build. A customer wants their classic GMC Suburban to drive like a modern car, and since WCC has pioneered and perfected the body swap, the team decides to cut the old Suburban body off it's chassis and mount it on a new Escalade, creating an instant classic. I've been watching West Coast Customs for years and I must say, this build is up there as one of the best I've seen. What they've done here is incredible.
Not exactly the choice of wheels I would've chose, but you guys knocked this build out of the park. This Suburban is an absolute art piece!
My uncle fit a 1950 Dodge Pilot House onto an 87 Dakota frame back in like 1993 and it was his daily driver until the mid 2000s. It's been sitting ever since but it's been given to me since his passing. He was a legendary restoration mechanic who won many awards at Pebble Beach, San Marino, Monterey etc. I'm going to fix it up in his honor and use it as my go-to truck once it's done. This is a more modern version of that build 30 years later.
the donor truck should have been a GMC yukon denali going with the heritage
The workforce is impeccable! Very talented employees.
Back in the early 2ks I thought this shop was a gimmicky joke but this is one of the coolest builds I’ve ever seen. Especially keeping all the electronics and dash gear. WOW.
18 min showing the hard work on the build, but 20 seconds of reveal time? Come on guys show off the hard work in that interior we wanna see a slow walk through of how it all came out
Needs some 26inch All gold Daytons n Vouges. Dayton needs to make a set of 26 in for this build alone. Nice job guys.
When they did Will.I.Am's corvette body swap like this on the og series i was blown away...dare i say they've only perfectly refined their craft! WCC still doing it!!
The copper instead of chrome or stainless is freaking sick!! Wcc set the bar way high on this build!!
I don’t think people understand how much work this is and the amount of knowledge it takes to pull it off west coast customs has a hell of a team
This is how you build your youtube channel better!! Clean editing and right to the point on the build. Short and sweet. Bad ass nice job guys.
Want to thank all the talented Mexican/ Latinos craftsman's that thing is a art piece
Nice job guys! Honestly my only suggestion would have been to put GMC badging on the inside (Denali steering wheel, door sills, etc.) to keep it matching the outside, but that’s just me.
Wow, this is 1000% better than the show. Great build, thanks
I dunno about a 2 door/3rd row SUV... but this is 🔥🔥🔥💯
This is great to see, distancing yourselves from pimp my ride, showcasing what you really can achieve. Subscribed
This is probably more expensive than building a car from scratch
The interior guys are the true mvp guys on this build.
i have been watching you guys since you were on Netflix and i miss the series but the stuff you are doing is next level
