That’s like not putting the MVP of the league on first team all nba. Like when Kobe won MVP, if he didn’t make first team all defense but won the MVP, that doesn’t make sense. I understand win shares is a crucial factor, but Gasol honestly wasn’t the best defender on that team. Tony Allen was. Bron was defending the 1-4 effectively that season. It was a robbery and Bron haters just can’t stomach that fact

It's because 2 different groups of voters voted on that award. It was so close that some voted 1st team C to Gasol and other other group voted Tyson Chandler for 1st team C. It's no conspiracy.
