You have to be kidding whenever you say that they're doing a thousand Mile drive and have to be back there the same day. That like I don't even know if that's possible unless you're speeding the entire time I mean I would assume that probably takes somewhere around 16 to 17 hours especially having to stop for fuel or use the bathroom maybe longer.
So I'd ask the people at the ice cream shop that if somebody from the drag and drive event buys merch like one of their t-shirts or a cup they get a free ice cream. That would bring them a lot of money and they would be welcoming you. Next time you ask if that can happen they'd be absolutely excited to have you all🎉🎉
Got to meet Keith Turk and Tom Bailey yesterday on Day 1. We had great time at Speedfest. Fortunately the weather turned out very nice on Friday until later in the afternoon. Keith actually introduced himself to us and told us about the stop at the Air Museum. I had no idea it existed and being an Air Force brat growing up, we had to go to the museum. All those we met running the drag and drive were very nice. Thank you Keith and Tom!!!

I hope this class takes off I've done 8.50 class for yrs slowing the car down but I'm taking this yr off to upgrade the car for mid low 7 second stuff so I hope you guys continue the 7.50 stuff and if so I'll be there in 2027
man I wish so badly I could afford to build even a 12 second car to do this with you guys getting custody of 4 grandbabies take okay money away but wouldn't change it for the world i can live in in my brain lol.
To bad Cleetus only does cheap car challenges for drag & drives. These Sick Races and events are perfect for the cars that made him famous. Ruby, Leroy, Mullet they just sit all year collecting dust until World cup and FL2K then back in the barn..😢😢😢😢😢
I say you do a related series of classes, basically a gateway setup, with the current 8.50 and this experimental 7.50 why not a 9.50 and 10.50, this way you can have a series of progressive classes where on a similar set of rules, you can have people start and progress without changing too many thing to jump from one class to another. Another class i'd find interesting is a strictly 4 cylinder class, make it a limited class allowing any 4 cylinder based car (IE vega, Pinto Datsun B210 Plymouth arrow ect) even allow some rwd conversions to make the class a little more interesting

I love the Bronco but it just one of the giveaways know need to enter. When your in a wheelchair you have to stick with automatic transmission. That's ok with me. The 59 Rambler 2dr wagon 482ci 871 850hp is coming along .I am get the new fuel injection on doing it all my self. 3/4 done.
