Racing was due to get underway at the 2026 Isle of Man TT but unfortunately with low cloud covering parts of the TT Course and conditions preventing the medical helicopter from operating safely, Race Day One was postponed. While disappointing for riders and fans alike, decisions like these reflect the judgement and responsibility that underpin every session on the Mountain Course. In today's Daily Round Up we look ahead to the revised schedule, and catch up with five-time TT winner Dean Harrison. Harrison is one of the standout performers throughout qualifying week, setting the pace on both his 1000cc machines. He talks through his approach, the thinking behind his closely matched Superbike and Superstock packages, and why consistency and rider confidence remain key over six laps of the TT Course. Dean also reflects on his journey from motorcycle mechanic to TT winner, his training and what it takes to compete at the highest level of road racing. With the forecast currently looking favourable, attention now turns to the opening six-lap RST Superbike Race. What are your predictions for Race Day? I absolutely love dean when he talks technical like that describing the hybrid bike he has effectively asked honda to build him and the standard gearbox he runs. What a lad. And you can tell he has a mechanical background. Fairplay to him. Well done deano 👍🏻
How can someone not like Dean ?
Lads just awesome cover this year, keep it up 🤟
What I’ve taken away from Motorcycle TT WHATEVER YOU GET PAID ITS NOT ENOUGH 👏 And have massive Hearts and ⚽️⚽️( not foot). Also I new to wotchin so unsure if Women Race ? But again 👏 if you do

What sort of bollocks is he speaking, he does not deserve to be on a popular video. ... moving on then.

down to earth or what. cool as a cucumber. Its such a small world. The Jefferies family, Dean and Hutch originate from with in a few miles of each other. All that on YORKSHIRE TEA. must be something in the water.
What a down to earth guy Dean is
He used to rag the Kawasaki big bike and be there or there abouts now on Fireblade hes ahead of the rest. All balls of steel these Road Riders, best in world

Small world eh. Bought all my bikes from powersport bikes from a chap called Dave . Was a fantastic bike shop at the time even used to do weekday rides out on an evening and was a shame when it closed.
