There is a problem here. Nvidia NX1 is now called the Spark chip. It is Arm and Cuda based. Tesla as well is Arm based without Cuda or with Cuda has yet to be determined. Both are paying for Arm technology annually. Yes there are two different places these chips will be used. However, BOTH Nvidia as well as Tesla have been providing code to their chips to the Linux kernel as well as the open source community. Apple on the other hand is a CLOSED source ecosystem They don't want any other operating system on their hardware. Though the open source community is reverse engineering Apple hardware compatibility into Linux, Apple's software is based on BSD with a Mach kernel. As BOTH Nvidia and Tesla commit to the Linux (open source) ecosystem (kernel), they will have more access to applications that even Apple doesn't have an answer for. Microsoft with it's Windows on Arm has got the problem mentioned as still having a lot of X86 based applications. Linux here will be the winner as most of the applications that are open sourced can be compiled for Arm. So where does that leave any of the players?

It means there's no chip there'll never be a fast charging Tesla. It can't handle the voltage. It's not 800 volts and without that while you're stuck in Old tech and there's no way to get out of it. And a matter of fact he hasn't even built that chip. It's we're still waiting for it. Everybody here that ain't available. Not this year and maybe next year except well on his cars. He's stuck the chip. It's not going to help what it goes with everything it was designed for in the car already. They can't switch to 800 volts and that's a problem. It's where the text going and batteries and he's locked right out of the gate. Wait till next year It's not going to change anything. Put it in a robot whoopty he designed it. Of 400 volts is old. Don't look around the world and figure out why you can't change. He's stuck right there The chip can't help them. It has to work with what they have existing. That's why they built the chip in the first place. Now they're stuck. Nothing works except what they got and they're not going to improve that. Why do you think he doesn't have a battery? And why does it take so long to charge? How come it doesn't work good in the cold and why can't you see stuff in the fog and when it rains now you know why. The chip helps in 2D pixels, not lidar sounded great. Cheaper it didn't work. They should have switched and they didn't. Now they're stuck.
