I've traveled every province in Canada and lived in each from Sask through BC and now live in Kelowna for +35 years, it truly is a paradise here with moderate winters and hot summers. I live near Quails Gate and have golfed at maybe 15 of the +60 courses within an hours drive. There's sooo many tourists here come mid June through mid Sept with many activities for everyone young and old.

We are thoroughly enjoying your videos! We live in Calgary and while we do not take the beauty of the mountains for granted however your enjoyment brought it to the forefront for us. Most of all the interaction between the two of you is a joy to witness. Sharing your “Buddy” moment was beautiful Alex. Han you could not be sweeter. We are looking forward to your visit to Vancouver Island. Continue to enjoy Canada, so pleased you are sharing your time here.

I live in West Kelowna, and I get bogged down with life so much that I forget how blessed I am to live here. Watching you brings the joy and gratefulness back and inspires me to get my family out and explore here. Lived here 18 years and still haven't checked out these sites. Definitely not going to take living here for granted now.

Kelowna is my favourite city’s in Western Canada. I wanted to live there my entire life, but as my husband needed to work in Calgary we couldn’t live there. I am so happy you love Kelowna as much as I do. Seeing Canada through your eyes is amazing, but knowing you love Kelowna as much as I do, well you have my heart.

Kelowna in the peak of summer is a DREAM LAND. The boats all on the water, every activity you can find. it's incredible. It's actually a huge party city, because during summer everyone from the surrounding cities goes there, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver. So it gets LIVE during that time. very festiv and alive.

Thank you for this. It reminds me of when my daughter and son and I made this drive and it was wonderful. It was spring and when we tried to make it back through the Rogers Pass on the way back they had closed it due to avalanche risk. The army shot howitzer cannons into the slopes to clear it while we spent a night in Revelstoke waiting. We made more memories there. Thanks again for this I’ll watch it over and over again.

You two continue to be such a joy. Watching you revel in every new view, smell, taste and event on your journey through the western edge of our beautiful Canada fills me with such pride. Viewing it all through your eyes and sharing your exuberance makes me feel I am there. Thank you so much for loving our country. Chimo (By the way, Chimo is primarily a friendly greeting in Inuktitut, meaning "hello," "goodbye," or "are you friendly?". It has several distinct cultural, historical, and slang uses depending on the region and context. Derived from the Inuktitut word saimo. Historically, it was sometimes accompanied by individuals rubbing their chests or holding up whalebone to signal peaceful intentions. It may also be used as a traditional salute, greeting or toast in the same way Scandinavians use skoal.)

I love seeing the places where I live through a new visitor's eyes. I have never lost my appreciation for the Okanagan, it has been an amazing place to spend 65 years.

A coworker of my husband lived in one of the far southern states and worked on oil rigs. He came to visit us one year in early fall and we took him camping up through our Fraser Canyon in BC. He was in awe! 👍The mountains were gorgeous with fall colors. I was so proud of our province! He was freezing cold😂

Your enthusiasm for Canada is heartwarming. I'm a resident of Kelowna and I've been taking my family camping all over southern BC for years. I forget how much there is in this part of the world. An entire lifetime would not exhaust all the things to see and do. For your next trip here put Nelson, Mount Robson, and the Columbia Icefields on your agenda. It's a lot of driving, you might have to plan two more trips. I hope you get to Port Renfrew when you're on the island. Safe Journeys!

You guys being in tears of appreciation for your surroundings and trip makes me stop and think twice about the views and areas I take for granted living here. The Rockies are truly beautiful.

I laughed when you commented on the lack of wildlife on the road trip. Kelowna is just 40 minutes down the road from us. You traveled through our town to get there. The drive to Kelowna for us never gets old. My husband and I travelled across Canada on Via Rail and had to wait until the Montreal Biodome to see a live beaver. Appreciate it where you find it. Urban deer are pretty common sight on the edges of the towns. So impressed by your reactions. Welcome to BC. You saw our area at one of the best times. Your photography is second to none. Subscribed.

You two are so cute together!! Sidney BC is my hometown, but we are currently living in Calgary, so I totally enjoy these videos and your reactions. Did you notice the Wildlife overpasses on your way out west? The wildlife ARE there, I promise! But they don't want to be seen, so they can be elusive . I'm surprised you didn't see any of the mountain goats when you were entering Golden and Revelstoke! As a lifelong Canadian who has driven back and forth from the Island to Calgary so many times, I just love to see how you experience it all for the first time. We totally take it all for granted. Quail's Gate is a beautiful winery, and there are so many more closer to Vernon in "Lake Country". Grey Monk is my favourite! Can't wait to watch your Island adventure and I hope you like it! It will always be my home ❣
