I enjoyed watching y’all Memorial Day feast and family gathering. Everything looked soo delicious. The boys were a delight to hear in the background and see lil sneak peeks. Katie, I am an old woman. In my day (the 60s) we had Home Economics classes in middle school and high school. The metal utensil you used to spread the frosting on the fruit pizza was called a spatula (not the things used to flip food in the pan). I think those were called turners. About the only thing the spatula was used for was to level off measuring cups. In cake making there is a version of that called an offset spatula, used for spreading frosting. That's what you really needed for your pizza. It would keep your knuckles out of the frosting. And I'm with you girl. I can't roll a crust out round to save my life. You should see my flour tortillas lol
