Brilliant lovely catch for youngster . Now I would say you have to tell the little lad that became full of spines on back hence teach him how to put hand to press down spine so he don't get poked . Lovely day fishing

My nephew caught a bluegill on a Stick ,rod,, I made for him, Off dock at 4 yrs, he kept the stick for many years, wonderful memories 🎣
