The problem with Slot is not just about results. Slot never made an effort to ‘get’ Liverpool, our history, our culture and so there was a total disconnect with the supporters. His treatment of Quansah, Elliott and Ramsay was disgraceful and didn’t align with the supporters sense of fairness when someone like Gakpo was treated so differently. When reporters understand this they will begin to understand why Slot had to go.

Slot literally showed up for a pay cheque, rode on the 2024/25 style of play before implementing hes style, losing all remaining games that season and we just never recovered from it even though we won our first 5 games of the season (barely) it just got worse. Salah called it out and the fans also voiced there displeasure. Looking forward to the new manager who has a long term vision, has a similar style that we played in the past 10 years and can engaged liverpool and the community, players in a more humble way.
