“Something has happened” top tier analysis guys
It might be the 20 losses setting a club record since 1914 that might have done it
I got my PhD in Chemistry last month. It wasn't particularly difficult. I answered every question with "something has happened."
So basically 16 mins of these jokers saying they have no idea what’s happened. Waffling on about nothing! Good old sky sports.
If your a Liverpool supporter this did not come as a surprise taking bs this Scouse
Wow! Top level analysis!!!
Hughes got wind of what the players actually thought about slot. And he heard they didn't want to sign any more contracts under this manager.
Jurgan klopp has set the standard at liverpool heavy metal football that should be standard for any manager who comes in
Well FSG stated that they would be doing a full review post season speaking to everyone from the players, coaching staff and coach...so I have a feeling the outcome of those discussions helped amplify things up and speed everything up
Why is the Sporting Director not a regular at Anfield? Precisely. Hughes set this all in motion, with Edwards' assist. Their data driven model led them to Slot... How? Nothing about Slot's history suggested aggressive, front footed, passionate football. Yet they chose him. They brought in expensive talent yet couldn't get a tune out of them all season. We've had far worse season's for injuries, but Slot selected his team from a small "preferred" squad, ignoring alternatives and sticking with players who were consistently poor. Any watching Liverpool fan will tell you, that we've looked disjointed, unrecognisable, and progressively worse as the season has gone on. Poor fitness, poorly coached, poorly set-up, and poor game plans and execution. Slot is responsible for that. We've watched poor performances all season. No progression. No improvement. This nonsense about LFC Fans being entitled is pushed by lazy journos and pundits who don't understand that LFC fans, win, lose or draw, stand by their team when they see effort and passion. EOS.
Maybe you were taken by surprise because Liverpool don’t wash their dirty linen in public. Arrangements had to be made behind the scenes to find a replacement before Slot left.
Do people watch full games anymore?? Liverpool were clearly going nowhere under Slot. There was no structure this season you could even hope to build upon. No performance where you can say that's what they can aim for every week.
Good stuff guys. Something happened but no one knows.
"Rio Ngoomba" 🥀🥀
It was his training methods aswell no one seems to talk about this.
The problem with Slot is not just about results. Slot never made an effort to ‘get’ Liverpool, our history, our culture and so there was a total disconnect with the supporters. His treatment of Quansah, Elliott and Ramsay was disgraceful and didn’t align with the supporters sense of fairness when someone like Gakpo was treated so differently. When reporters understand this they will begin to understand why Slot had to go.
The decision was taken after Salah's powerful outburst but they decided to wait for some time while searching for another credible manager. They didn't want it look like it was Salah's statement that drove them.
"fan power?" results and underlying performance metrics were nosediving; not just a record 19 losses, but LFC were outrun by every team in the premier league
The decision was made weeks ago, these experts know nothing, Sky needs to find better people.
All Slot had to do was continue our style of football, attacking, pressing and high energy. He did not do that, wanted to play a slow, build up style of play which does not suit us. Anfield became dead towards the last 10 games of the season. Slot did not bother engaging the fans, lost the dressing room, poor tactics, playing our best players out of position, did not trust anyone that he did not like (half the squad), never took accountability, endless gaslighting comments, threw some players under the bus. Slot literally showed up for a pay cheque, rode on the 2024/25 style of play before implementing hes style, losing all remaining games that season and we just never recovered from it even though we won our first 5 games of the season (barely) it just got worse. Salah called it out and the fans also voiced there displeasure. Looking forward to the new manager who has a long term vision, has a similar style that we played in the past 10 years and can engaged liverpool and the community, players in a more humble way. Thank you for the title Slot but onwards we go now.
