He was weak because Wanda already move the mind stone then Thanos use time stone to rewind vision was already weak at that time so he can't control he's thickness or strength at that time he was as strong as a normal metal or even weaker

That wasn't Vision who sliced Thanos in half, it was Ultron

Vision would have absolutely decimated thanos if that overgrown grimace shake didn’t jump him while him and Wanda was sharing allat emotional damage
