Alpina made only 43 examples of the E39 Alpina B10 V8S Touring. I found perhaps the roughest, high-mileage one with 309k km / 192k miles, and went ahead and mechanically restored it completely, bolt by bolt! Coooming up? Feels like missing something without the classic intro
The appeal of these videos is to a great degree the fact that many of us would love to restore cars to the same level and depth. Many of us have the skill, but not the equipment, space and above all, funds to do so. The next best thing is to watch someone with the same mindset do it. Thank you for sharing what you do with and for us Sreten.
I think you may be the first person on the planet to ceramic coat a fuel tank. I love it
The car is genuinely better prepared and protected than when it left the factory!
that restored rear subframe is simply a piece of art, just amazing!!
Glad to see the Bentley is still here.
The reason why M539 is one of my most favorite channels ever is a) because Sreten respects the car, the pieces and his work, and b) no nonsense, straight to the point attitude with very nice humorous bits.
When it comes to m539 Restorations sometimes cost isn't computed and it's a labor of love on restoring rare bmws. If you've watched him for any time you understand this.
The exhaust restauration is insane. Wow!
I've been watching youtube since the very beginning (yes I'm old), but you my man, have created something unique with this channel. Please continue what you are doing, don't change the formula, stay who you are, because your channel is pure gold. Btw I'm a computer engineer, and I do nothing with cars whatsoever :)
You cant hide the Name of the miracle exhaust juice from us. I need this soooo deeply!!
bro knows what the lads need on a sunday night
First thing I look for is how long the video is.. one hour. We are in for a treat tonight.
I had forgotten about the possibility that you would get better at your craft which each restoration. Your videos have become a sort of ASMR car restoration genre for me. The days that you cursed at various nuts and bolts while working inside your freezing/sweltering cube of a shop are long gone. Everything looks so clean and satisfying.
That exhaust job is why I love watching this channel. Sreten never change please
This isn't mechanics, it's art.
With your work and attention to detail Sreten, it’s always worth it
The attention to detail that this gentleman applies to his cars is amazing. The best motoring channel on YouTube
Hearing your plans about the paint and roofbox put the biggest smile on my face. So excited!
Protecting the driveshaft with a rag so it doesn't get scratched is peak Sreten haha. But I seriously believe that this is now the cleanest E39 on the planet (at least the underpinnings)
