Team Honda HRC Progressive's Hunter and Jett Lawrence put their CRF450Rs on the podium today in Southern California for the opening round of the 2026 Pro Motocross series. Hunter locked in his second-ever career overall in the 450 class with a 1-1 performance, while his brother returns from injury with a 4-3 on the day. Red Bull KTM's Jorge Prado entered his second Pro Motocross US championship with a more familiar piece of equipment and jumped right into race-winning contention. Here from all three about their days as they address the media.

Hunter put on a Jett like performance tonight. Crazy how good his starts are when you consider how incredible Prado's starts are. Hunter holeshot, got passed, passed back, checked out and managed a 7-10 second gap the whole race, and made it look effortless. That's some Jett level shit.
Lawrence = pure class. Deegan = pure trash. Deegs got smoked. The End.

I didn't realize how bad of a limp jett has until today when he was walking. makes you think how much pain he is actually still dealing with but then goes out and podiums first race back. hopefully the foot gets better sooner than a year
A great result for Jett in spite of his right calf muscle being noticeably atrophied. I'm sure he can't train like he wants to, but I expect him to only pick up steam from here.
Wow has the deegan fandom gone quiet. They were all saying if Jett gets beat by deegan what excuse is he going to use? "Im injured and not 100%"... Yet all those same fans have disappeared from the chat and those that didn't are using "He's a rookie" as an excuse.
