I believe it is illegal in the U.S to do this with standard car tires, but for vehicles that use larger tires, like trucks, tractors, and construction equipment, due to the high cost of new tires.

For low speed vehicles like tractors and what not this is definitely safe and obviously cheaper.

Safe for slow moving vehicle like the tractors shown, not for cars on highways

Well I work in a tire shop that retread tires and it’s completely safe. Other than dust and it being loud it is as safe as being in a office. It’s a cool job and the money is great.

For a tractor sure. But once ny friend had a tire like this in a car and the thread just came of at 160kph which is like 100mph. F that I ain’t trusting them tires again.

Re-treaded tires are illegal in most states

ITS safe in lower speeds cuz in higher speeds centrifucal force will unstick new layer from old one

My tractor got tires still from PRL times polish Stomil

Worked at loves before where we did this for semi truck tires, different process but they turned out pretty safe as far as I was told
