My car does this. Thankfully all it does is beep. I know some cars actually start breaking if adaptive cruise control is on.

I get a 30mph warning while driving along the M4 from J5 to J6 because of a sign on the B470 that runs parallel. Itโs great fun when the adaptive cruise then tries to drop from 70mph to 30mph โ ๏ธ

My instructors car did that exact same thing on my test loll. It was picking up the estate that was beside the main road. (She has the exact same car)
