That win was deserved payback for Game 1 SOO 2024 when NSW player Joseph Suaalii was sent off for a shoulder charge 8 minutes into the game. The only difference is Qld didn't complain then.
Ethan Strange was definitely the player of the match for NSW.
NSW and QLD don’t agree on a lot of things when it comes to origin but if it’s one thing we can all agree on is we don’t want Ashley Klein to ref! He ruins games and always needs to find a way to make the it about him.
Blues were lucky but a win is a win, they better improve for game 2, a lot.

Strange and young were epic the calmness from cleary after ponga was sent off was greatness then the arguable 1 of the greatest comeback wins in origin of all time then the clutch from the teddy was immortal
Ethan Strange should be the man of the match instead of Cleary. He sparked the NSW comeback and had commanding display alongside Cleary. Cleary had some big moments but before Strange initial burst, he is nowhere to be seen.

I think when Ponga was sent off, the writing was on the wall for Queensland. Brave attempt though, get rid of Daley he’s hopeless. Billy is a class above him.

The way Kline dismissed and ignored the bunkers ruling and enforced his own so calmly should see him stood down if not outright sacked. For him to do that he honestly has to believe that he is elite and can't be wrong and doesn't answer to anybody. Or he's been paid to ensure a result
