With how many stunters the game had since 2017 doing this as a daily routine and even more complicated glides, I'm surprised it was never a standard for speed runners
Meanwhile Lego Star Wars speedrunners completing a frame perfect glitch with a 1/2500 success rate to save 2 seconds 13 hours into a run
The monent 1 runner does it in a run, even if its not a crazy insane run, everyone will start doing it
When the speed runs get perfected enough people are going to need to do it.

Imagine speed running for a living and not being brave enough to attempt something that only takes three hours for a potential WR. This is literally what happens right before the end of every summoning salt video, just send it.
i don't know anything about gta speedruns, but from the knowledge i have about speedrunning from other games, i love that this sort of situation happens in almost every popular speedrunning game. there's always some sort of trick that is too far in the run to risk it all on, but once one person does it everyone else has to adapt.
