Watch sf17k's run here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stP6ZM6wBn4 Minecraft Speedrunning has had a long history, but what's the first ever Minecraft speedrun? Before Dream, Illumina, or any other runner touched the game, someone had to be the first to do a speedrun, and I searched to find that person. #shorts #minecraft #speedrun If you're reading this, subscribe!

"My only goal is to get diamonds"
Since there are multiple people commenting on it; the texture pack is the “Painterly” pack. Its still available and you can even make a custom painterly pack where you select each block’s texture from a list.
Keep in mind at this time in Alpha, your seed couldn't be typed in by the player so this is most likely real
there are seed finders that can find seeds using only footage. its probably a lot more difficult when he was using a texture pack tho
“only goal is to get diamonds” *camman flashback*
Fun fact: in older versions of Minecraft the seed couldn't be shown. Chat in singleplayer doesn't work. So those haters don't know old minecraft
Excellent quality, I hope that you grow.
my boy has a beautiful texture pack ong
"he didn't show the seed" watch the community figure it out via the cloud pattern again
The fact that he was even speed running at that time is an achievement on its own
just the fact that he was suprised when he found the diamonds and was about to strip mine. its definently real
Pov: You instantly thought about camman18s *"My only goal is to find diamonds"*

Camman18: “My time has come…”
Every time I dig straight down I find what I'm looking for
camman in his early days
I remember back in Indev me and my cousins used to do this challenge, my first attempt was 15+ minutes(I think) because I kept using my wood pickaxe all the way down to diamond level, my second attempt was pretty much like this vid I chopped a tree, dug straight down but this time with a stone pickaxe and I got my diamond at 6:28. I don't think Indev had custom seed feature back then though so this run could actually be real.
