holy ass math. for anyone wondering, the odds of "winning" a 50/50 X times in a row is 1 / 2^(X) He started multiplying by 0.25 each time, not 0.5. Regardless, he could have done it faster by just plugging 1 / 2^(8), for eight won 50/50's, or 1/256. This is also why people underestimate the likelihood of streaks of red, or landing heads, when gambling for example. Its not that uncommon to go heads 5 times in a row (1/32). For non 50/50's, an X streak, if i remember rightly, the formula is (1 / (1 / Chance of Success as a decimal)^X E.g, for a 5050, 1 / (1 / 0.5) ^ X = 1 / 2^(X) :3
