A note on the Super Mario Bros speedrun time, the current record (4 minutes, 54 seconds and 631 miliseconds) is 22 frames or about 366 miliseconds away from the theoretical human limit!

Fun facts Super Mario Bros the record is "the human limit" it was named that because there is no way to pass it we have broken the game down for such a long time that we know you can't beat the the game in under 4 minutes and 54 seconds

the mario bros speed run is currently at 4:54.6 by niftski, this has been one of the biggest milestones in the games history, and the projected fastest time is 4:54.26, the perfect mario speedrun

The Super Mario World speedrun record is 12 seconds, abusing a glitch in the first level where, if you carry out a VERY specific and random movement in the first level, for some reason, the whole game gets skipped and you get sent to the credits.
