I didn't know it was possible, but i somehow feel even WORSE for skycrab now. To be so close, have completed the run, and then get robbed at the last second is already painful enough, but then for another runner to come and get the new WR a week after that is the definition of insult to injury.
This month has been wild for Minecraft speedrunning - Feinberg's 2:05 AA record (although it was in late May) - Skycrab's RSG 6:17 WR choke - and now Lowkey's 6:50 RSG WR just to name a few (missed several I wasn't aware about or forgot) I have a feeling that this record won't be standing for long

What I love about this run is that it's not perfect. The far ravine, the accidental pearl (not a big deal honestly), the eye into the mesa wall, the portal mess-up, etc. HUGE props to Lowkey for getting this run and the WR of course, but I can see a bunch of runners trying even harder now to get WR.

Lets take a moment to comprehend the crookst-skycrab comparison. Apart from everything else, we can now see that bot crookst's category killer run had a wr happen a few days later (less than a week) and skycrab's category killer run had a wr happen around a week later

Ig skycrab's near 6:17 was like the sub 4 minute mile, once someone goes that fast (or in this case almost goes that fast), more and more people achieve similar or better marks
misplayed a couple different times and still got WR by 10+ seconds, lowkey is a BEAST bro
