That second story, the guy didn't lie to those women, they both were aware of each other. He didn't force his wife into that situation either, she could have left. It may have been rare for women to leave their husbands at the time but it still happened. She just made the decision to stay because the guy was still paying the bills and that's what really mattered in the end or it would have been really difficult for her with her kids. It was a shitty choice but it was a choice she made.

I'm sorry, I'm calling "BS" as they say in America (I'm from the UK) on the first story. Even though I don't know how the US tax system works, the logistics of the story don't add up

The first story guy could be caught in a hot minute. He wasn’t just stealing from the company, but he was racking up income and taxes on a guy who had no idea. The first time a discrepancy comes up, Marcus traces where the money came from, and what account it was put into. His managers name is on the new account. Super stupid.

I can believe that first story. A former manager of mine stole a couple of million from our organisation over 20 years by changing bank details for unclaimed refunds and rerouting then into his own bank. The taxman and the bank never noticed a thing, he was caught by pure coincidence when an underling thought it was weird someone was getting a refund when they shouldn't have been and flagged it to a higher manager. The thief got 5 years in prison and lost his entire pension and house to pay it all back. Whoops.

Third story it's like a Stephen King's non horror novel.

So this nonsense first story, if real, claimed that he didn’t hurt anyone. The real Marcus would face an IRS audit, the person he hired to do the work was pretty much a sweatshop worker for him where he kept the money and made the guy work for peanuts. The company itself could have provided an actual job to someone but the author denied that to every potential job candidate. But in the end, the whole thing is made up, anti corporate BS

The second story gives me mixed feelings. On the one hand, I'm disgusted.on the other I'm impressed.

Dude from the first story, said he didn’t hurt anyone or rip anyone off, but what about that poor freelancer making $15 a day! wtf 😬 😳

Sorry 1, 65k a year, the ONLY reason anyone would struggle on 65k during that time, would be if they were trying to live outside their means and try to live like you're making 100k. Just admit to azz greedy AF.

for the 2nd story, able to maintain two families at the same time was possible because both women allowed it. Dont say it like some kinds of impossible achievement.

My GOD the first story, heres the but you can skip to to stop hearing the whinging 😂 2:00 Edit to add: trauma has one of two impacts it either makes you a monster or a saint. The saints are the ones who cope with their pain knowing they are reducing the risk of others feeling their pain. The monsters think their trauma is the most powerful: so they become trauma.

Once years ago I paid $120 for a credit card you could only use at McDonald’s. It had a limit of $50 so we would do four laps after getting stoned 😂
