An early morning walk through the fields and traditional houses of Shirakawa-go, a traditional Japanese mountain village and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Gifu, Japan. The village is known for its thatched roof houses, picturesque rice fields, flowing canals, and beautiful natural landscape. I'm on the Autism spectrum and strongly need my routines. Therefore, travelling overseas is basically an impossibility for me. Japan is somewhere that would be very high on my priority list to visit, if money wasn't a concern and I could arrange some people to assist me whilst on holiday. One can only live in hope. This place is so beautiful! I'm in America and our canals are just dug out with a bulldozer about 4 ft wide and they spread the bottom with random, bland, big rocks at leastwhere i live. Some canals are cemented. I want ones that look like yours! And we certainly don't have cool fish in them as they put massive amounts of algeacide in it causing all sorts of problems in the reservoir like toxic green algae. Thanks for this video.
