If this ever becomes a reality, this will be a nature and sci-fi loving introvert’s dream.
And all this without a single loading screen. Incredible
This game should hold the Guinness record for the longest-running beta.
If SC ever gets beyond the point that you're spending 99% of your time figuring out how to drink water, and navigate bugs and mundane details, I will play it. To this point, it has been utterly pointless
6:58 I think it's a shame that I've got a garage door opener in my 2003 truck but it's 2955 in this world and you have to get out of a Rover to open up the bay of your ship
Foliage flying through cockpit is perfect
Help me hit 5,000 subs! We’re at 3,100 right now
It's clearly a marvellous game engine - my biggest issue with the art direction is how disconnected the ship feels from the atmosphere and gravity. Need big thruster to go forwards, sure... but hover 100 tonnes in the air? Meh, we only need a candle to do that. No; the ships thrusters should have a massive downward vector, and the whole thing should wobble and judder ever so slightly, hinting at stabilisation computers fighting turbulence etc. That would be so immersive.
texture pop in is extreme and distancing
Just been doing this in VR on my rig (5090, 9950x3d). Give me rolling dynamic weather, base building and I can find a home anywhere and chill.
id love to get back into the game once i get a new pc lol
Imagine the content from vids like this when we get genesis :D
I was exploring like this today. I wish there were things to do on the surfaces of all the planets, things combat and non combat related. exploration in this game is second to none.
In a pine forest, the forest floor is always thick with pine needles.
I'd prefer 1440p and super smooth video ... just saying.
A bush flying through the car interior. It's really ultra-realistic 😆
Nothing says reality like trees popping in and out of....reality.
*cries in elite dangerous*
lol u can see the repeating textures on the ground before you land lol seriously they gotta fix that
the most advanced tech you can imagine, but got no remote to open the lift and had to go outside and push the button 🙄😄
