A virtual Rainforest walk & hike on the North Fork Siouxon Trail to Black Hole Falls, with no talk, no music, no close-up shots of my ugly mug... just nature & relaxation. The full journey in real-time, 4K video. Nestled in the South Cascades of Washington - not far from the Portland metro area, but a world away - the pristine rainforest and crystalline water of North Siouxon Creek hides in a rugged canyon, one of the few remaining drainages in the area not scarred by roads and clearcuts. Unlike more popular (but also gorgeous) Siouxon Creek, its cousin to the north is quieter and more of a local secret, partly due to the distances involved & at times sketchy road access and trail. Aside from the lush Pacific Northwest flora, this trail also crosses numerous tumbling side creeks and a few chances to visit North Siouxon Creek itself before climbing to stunning Black Hole Falls. On the way you may spot woodland flowers & glimpses of wildlife, with only the sound of birdsong, wind-rustled trees, and lots of rushing water to keep you company. Enjoy! I'm still ironing out the camera setup, as well as the format/structure for future videos. Please feel free to comment on the good, the bad, or the ugly; this is an on-going learning experience. My hope is for each video to improve on the last.

Such a peaceful location 😊😊😊
Thanks for this. Gave me such peace and relief of stress
Hey, love the video. I love putting it on in the background while I study. I'm assuming this is a gopro, and if so, how do you have the gopro mounted?
Hi. Thank you. I'm crying watching this. I miss the mountains so much and your account description speaks directly to that and that kind of understanding warms my heart. The hardest part of being disabled is actually being afraid to even try more than being sure I would fail. I found slow tv recently through a friend and for the first time I'm happy that technology evolved this far. I can even smell the forests sometimes, although I guess they're different on that side of the atlantic xD thank you for taking the time to show us around.
curious your pack for a 10m hike
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you :)
Nice video. Thanks
I lived in Washington State until 4 years ago when I moved to Georgia to retire.
Great video you have inspired me
hope you can use some gyro, video is kinda shaky, but good content - from Philippines.
I really dig your page 😊! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your hikes with us, nothing like being there yourself! However it’s great to get a true sense of what you would like,& what to expect 😅…
Vancouverite here, I love Washington’s nature. The cascades are simply stunning
For some of us walking on a treadmill the quick camera movements can effect your balance if you have that issue, great walk though and thanks.
WOW...👌👌🌈💟💟 Beautiful.. mother nature 🙏💐💐💐💐💐💞
I love big trees, I love nature ❤❤❤
Is the water in those streams safe to drink?
Great stull - I'm a big fan of the ambient sound, virtual hike videos :) Just curious, what are you using for a camera here, and mount (GoPro on a "Chest" harness perhaps?) Thanks!
Other than the view, no music is the best part. Thanks for the upload.
The United States Of America is so unique and beautiful !!! What a beautiful country
