Poveglia Island has such a heavy, tragic history. Tens of thousands of plague victims buried in mass graves, followed by a psychiatric hospital... it’s no wonder the Italian government can’t even auction it off. The ground itself must be made of ashes.
Great documentary. Mount Kailash is one of the rare places where mystery, faith, and geography meet. Maybe some places should remain untouched out of respect. Which forbidden place do you think is the most dangerous: the island of snakes, North Sentinel Island, or the places controlled by governments?
