Just when I thought Khan Academy was good, they step it up to great. This is EXACTLY what I wanted from you guys: animal education! Thank you!

My mum think that we are a step above animals (because that is what god wanted for us). Arrrgggggg. OMG mum, we are ANIMALS. She also doesn't think that we evolved from monkeys. And this is why I became non-religious. I love animals and trust more in science than what a god has told us (or what we think he means)

Ethos is an appeal to ethics, and it is a means of convincing someone of the character or credibility of the persuader. Pathos is an appeal to emotion, and is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response. Logos is an appeal to logic, and is a way of persuading an audience by reason.

Thank you! I’m currently in the process of getting a pet psychology certification and during my breaks from it I watch videos of topics I had a hard time understanding. This was very helpful!

Prior to this video, I would get mixed up between entomogy, the study and ethology. The explanation has clarified the difference. However, I was expecting a more detailed discussion on issues such as fixed Action Pattern, cognitive learning, Associative learning among others. A lesson on animal behaviour can't be complete without a discussion of works by Konead Lorenz ( impritting) and Ivan Pavlov (associative learning).

Jordi Casamitjana brought me here! go jordi... go jordi! and Mr Lumpy, which is a group on FB that follows a family of Badgers. In a recent clip a Badger appears to play with a Fox. So inter-species friendship was something I pondered. Esp wild animals.
