Animators HATE watching these scenes 😭

As a bellerina, I was like “oh she kinda walks a ballerina” and he immediately says “he wanted her to walk like a ballerina” so he actually didn’t really fail that part

I remember a quote from the animators' commentary of The Incredibles. And I am paraphrasing a bit, but it was essentially: "You will never hear an animator look at a sequence and go 'this scene is **done**'..."

Every artist does that.

I personally like that frame for ursula. It makes the movement feel even more pushy. Like she's getting in her face and trying to intimidate her.

As my English teacher said, “Artists always want to add one more stroke to their paintings”

THEY WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED-

As all artists are, constantly unsatisfied. I have so many instances where I say to myself "yup, this drawing is done" and then I proceed to add something else or fix a mistake 🤦

I love bell's walk it gives her more like a daydream kind of walk and it's so sweet

How Belle walks is actually my favorite part about her

I loved that scene in the lion king, though. I wouldn’t change it.

I actually love belles walk and think it suits her personality well. She walks all airy and delicate like she’s trying not to crush wildflowers while walking through a meadow. Really sells her “head in the clouds gentle bookworm” vibe.

those little flaws helps making it feel human made.. so my advice is continue your perfectionism but when it's time to be released just be happy it's released so you can move on to the next project.

We say that the scene isn’t finished, it’s just done. Animators always want to go in and work it more 😂

The Belle one is so right though. I always giggle at that scene because she's just walking ducked footed through the town and walking normally EVERYWHERE else. 🤣

That’s wild because those are the exact parts I love about those scenes/movies
