How’s the stats on Racer for top 16? From my little research I haven’t found anyone to say it’s beneficial to be on Racer and not YouTube. I see a lot of fans saying they’re just not going to watch. Killing your own sport for some extra cash? Good luck.

If racer+ is going to continue, i think the people that work there should stay low and out of sight and limit interactions with fans of drifting.
I think this round was a massive improvement on last round in almost every way. The Walle system seemed more dialled, the human judges mostly seemed to make the right call, and there weren't as many broadcast issues with the streams. Last round was an absolute travesty. Unfortunately, this round still had issues, mainly with the audio in the Top 16 stream on Racer, where it would lag/cut out every few seconds for the entire stream. The fact that nobody on the Racer or FD team apparently bothered to check the audio for the entire stream (or maybe they checked it but couldn't fix it) is pretty abysmal, and I think it's become very clear that Racer mislead FD to believe they had the capacity to handle this broadcast, only to be proven for three events in a row that they do not. First event we had terrible, low quality video on Racer with the colour mixing changing every two seconds with seizure-inducing flashes. Second event we had the entire Top 16 replay being 'mistakenly' put behind a paywall until 1+ days later (not to mention the green screens every few seconds on the qualifying stream, though that was on YouTube as well, not just Racer). Also, how did going to Racer somehow end up adding MORE ads all over the screen? We now intermittently have advertising banners plastered across the screen, coving up other graphics that the viewers actually want to see, and even covering up other sponsor logos, sometimes. I didn't make a big fuss over the shift to Racer TV initially, I just tried to deal with it, but we've had three out of three events now where they have dropped the ball hard and made the viewing experience dramatically worse for the fans. I understand that we don't have FD without sponsors, advertisers, production teams, and distributing deals, but we also don't have FD without the fans and viewers. What you are doing with Racer TV is alienating the fans and viewers; if you are not careful you will lose the audience, and if you lose the audience you will also lose the sponsors and advertisers. With that said, there have been huge improvements in how Walle is displayed and explained, which I appreciate. The graphics on the screen are getting better and better. It is very interesting to see the data that it displays on each run, and you guys have gotten a lot better at being consistent with making sure to show that data for basically every run, and in a timely manner. I appreciate that.

Bring Top 16 back to YouTube or at least work out the bugs and make the stream better quality if hosting on a different platform. Literal 0 reason to watch it some place else.. Live viewership has to be dismal.
