Acer is launching two handhelds this year: one streaming-focused lightweight device called the Nitro Blaze Link, and a beefy Intel-based handheld PC called the Predator Atlas 8. I tried them both out, and here is how they fare. They announced the Acer Nitro 11 like a year and half ago and it's still not out
That DPAD is a war crime.
Bruh, they need to make more handhelds with kickstand
It's crazy to me that hall effect sticks are not the absolute minimum in tech today, when we have this tech in handhelds comfortably under $100! It's the same for controllers. I use a GameSir G7 HE and (being wired for Xbox aside) it's better in every way than the official controller at the same price or more.
I am very happy to see you here in Taiwan. I watched your video a lot of times to setup my RP6 and Thor, and all other unbox video. I hope you have a good time here.
Cool! More amazing devices I will never be able to afford cause of tariffs and AI data enters.
I use my legion go as a streaming handheld 90% of the time, its great to have when I'm away from my pc but moonlight/apolllo are fantastic. Can't tell the difference between native rendering anymore
"How it cost?" -"only 1.650$!" -"like we say here in Italy: grazie e arrivederci, (thanks, and goodbye)"
The Link would have to be like $99 to be competitive. What a weird product, and I say that as a G Cloud owner.
very cool ross
06:28 for emulation the cpu may matter more than gpu
No trackpads in a PC enviroment where 83% of game sessions according to are using m&k.
You were the best person to give us this sneak peek, you absorbed so much detail and shared it with us so effectively. Thanks Russ, awesome video!
Acer is making a bunch of inexpensive stuff saturated in compromise...?! GASP! Be still, my heart!
As an aging old punk, seeing you wearing an Operation Ivy shirt made me smile.
IS THAT AN OP IVY SHIRT?
Man I hope they send you a review unit for testing 😮😅
The atlas looks cool but I wish they went with 32gb like MSI
Onya russ! Enjoy mate and thanks 🙏
Pricing is the only thing that matters now that these devices have basically become a luxury.
