We need a deer or a bear, any new mob, for the Dappler Forest, that also provide some gameplay function. There should also be a feature where we can collect sweet syrup from the Poplar tree which can be used as an ingredient for so many types of food in a future food themed update or drop. The barrels in the abandoned camps should also contain some empty bottles as a hint that they can be used to collect syrup. This syrup can for now give faster healing upon consumption. But for a future food themed update or drop. it can be a part of something more. It can be used as flavours, and ingredients, for various foods. Pancakes, waffles, pies, and these is just the tip of the iceberg!! So much possibility, please Mojang add the syrup.

00:01 Save you the effort: 23:42 The new drop is an autumn looking forest called dappled forest. It is a cold biome so it will have cold variants of mobs. They are adding a poplar tree, which comes with red, orange or yellow leaves. The poplar wood is warm light grey and looks very different from the pale oak wood. Fallen logs are present. The grass in this biome is reddish brownish orange. There is a red bush that will preserve its colour when placed in other biomes. There is a new structure called abandoned camp. The tent is built out of wool. Wool is being updated to include stairs and slabs, in all wool colours. The features of this forest are still in development. The first snapshots will be in northern hemisphere summer. Something went wrong with the live and it cut off and got posted as a full 6 hour video that got privatized less than 20 minutes later. They have made this video available to make up for it.

I think that this biome is eventually going to get either a bird, a deer, or even a bear added to it. It really feels like the kind of biome that deserves a unique mob—something special that brings a strong sense of life and makes the environment feel more alive.

I think there should be a new ocean biom: the trench, which goes down to y-60 or sth like that
