Its so sweet of the other children to worry about her getting her clothes dirty. They probably regularly get in trouble, if they get their own nice clothes dirty so they dont want her to get into trouble too. (Yes, im just assuming here, but they played with her once she also came in simple stuff so i think its safe to assume.)

As someone who watched the anime, the clothes WERE expensive. The clothing she was wearing in the clips cost them a crap ton of money hence why Rei and Kazuki were amazed and happy at how cheap the clothing from the discount store were

It’s just clothes. Those kids need to be taught not to assume and instead ask if it’s okay if she gets dirty Edit: stop replying. I already understand it was to not make her dirty but they could have played inside. Edit: I’m not saying they have to play inside. I’m saying when they played inside they still didn’t play with her

Tbh, the classmates just didn’t want her clothes to be dirty, ofc they could’ve approached a different way. But there kids, I get that some people might feel like the parents are in the wrong for not teaching them but using that logic they’d have to teach their kids A LOT of things.
