Finnick’s first and last words being “Katniss” makes his story hit even harder. What first feels like a simple line becomes painfully meaningful later, because it quietly connects his beginning and ending through her. It is the kind of detail most people miss at first, but once you notice it, his final moment becomes even more heartbreaking. #hungergames #movie #film

If I remember correctly even Suzanne Collins didnt like killing him
I cried when he was yelling Katniss 😭🥺
People say they don’t like his death, but I think it adds a level of brutality that reinforces the capitols lack of humanity.
Guys he didn’t die he survived he is with his kid and Annie in 4 and mags visits every weekend to teach him how to fish. Trust me
When I first read the series in middle school, I got to the point where he died and I literally put the book down and decided that it needed to be returned to the library that day 💀 I didn’t finish the book for a good month
The horrible part is he barely had time to spend with his wife 😢 both of them endured so much pain and torture and suffering. I’m glad he had a child even if he didn’t even know about it but still, absolutely horrible death. 😞 he went out a Hero.
Finnick 😢 His death hit like a million bricks
He should have lived finick forever
Noooo. I hate this part, and you hear her saying "Nightlock" (which was what her and Peeta used in the first games to let them both win, but in this movie it was used to set off the bomb that blew up Finnick)
I read the books and had to break throughout the series because I couldn’t read from the tears. Totally cries I school for a few of the deaths
I'll never forget him crunching on the sugar cube. Sigh
That guy had a rough death, being ripped apart from the inside by lizard things and then drowning in sewers water to the get bombee
Woah woah woah, I’ve only seen the first movie 😅 what in the world are those grey humanoids?
no no no no no no i cant handle that im actually crying rn😭
Im choosing to believe hes still alive somehow he had some insane invisible armor on and is on his way back to his wife and child right now 💔
The fact that he died with hands all over him after what happened to him it's a fucking tragic and horrible moment that I hate, god, it's been more than a decade since I've read it and Finnick's death is still so unfair
The only death that truly broke me. All the rest were sad but his hurt harder.
His death weighs the heaviest on my heart from this series. Finnick was a true hero. A selfless man that not only sacrificed himself here for his squad but he also in the books was pretty much forced to be a prostitute for president snow or his family and friends would be killed. He traded his body for secrets from the capital by the elites. This blackmail helped greatly.
Everything the cult of the HEXAGON does causes chest pain
Pretty sure his first words were like dada or mama or something but sure, if you say so
