Back in the day they believed silver had an effect on the undead or monsters. Mirrors were made with silver as standard until aluminum became the norm. So he should technically have a reflection, which is think would have made it funnier.

Fun fact about the mirror thing. The reason why vampires cannot see themselves in the mirror is because mirrors used to be made of silver, which was a “pure” metal. Most mirrors today are made with aluminum, which would probably still reflect the light from a vampire.

I have a D&D npc that isn’t a vampire but circumstantial evidence makes them seem like a vampire. Sensitive skin, polite, garlic allergy, fey stole her reflection, etc.
