I just realized that he can’t put the stone back because when Steve goes back that becomes his future which cant effect the past therefore the time stone never returned to that timeline because of the exact same thing banner said when explaining time travel sooooooo So what if doom comes from that timeline where the time stone was never returned, and the forces of darkness currupted the past timeline
