Synthetic Oil Brands, Oil Brands In Australia, Fake Claims You walk into Supercheap Auto, grab a bottle of oil off the shelf that says "Full Synthetic" on the label, pay fifty bucks for it, and drive home thinking you just bought the best protection for your engine. Except you didn't. You bought a blend. A mixture. Something that's maybe thirty percent actual synthetic oil and the rest is just refined crude with some additives thrown in. And it's completely legal. Because in Australia, there's basically no regulation on what can be called "synthetic." The word means nothing on a label anymore. It's marketing. It's a lie that costs you money and potentially damages your engine. I'm about to expose five brands that are selling you fake synthetic oil in Australia right now. Oils that have "Full Synthetic" plastered all over the bottle but aren't actually synthetic by any technical definition. And then I'm going to show you the five brands that are genuinely producing proper Group IV and Group V synthetic oils that actually do what synthetic oil is supposed to do. #syntheticoil , #oilbrandsaustralia, #australianoilbrands ——————————————————————————————— Copyright Disclaimer: This video may contain copyrighted material used under the principles of fair use for purposes such as commentary, criticism, education, and news reporting. Especially motorcycle engines. I buy American made fully synthetic oil, for my CFMoto 800MT. It is crazy expensive. Always look at the tech specs and check what your owner manual specifies. This is shocking, that these oils are falsely labelling their containers!
so how do they reach mercedes MB spec if not correct
Harley Davidson Full Synthetic.. So I'm guessing it's NOT.
I recently changed to Motul 7100 in my motorcycle. The engine and gearbox is now so smooth and quiet. Worth extra $$.
Atlantic Oil for the win
My Super Cheap (Expensive) stock Gulf Western oil.
I use Gulf Western oils. They are honset and label their oils as either mineral, semi-synthetic, and full synthetic.
how about....Buy what the manufactures states, buy GOOD OIL FILTERS (not all are created equal) and change your oil and filter every 7,500km.
I dont really care about any of this. What matters is the standard it meets. Provided it is tested to meet the api/sae required by your vehicle, what constitutes the exact make up of the oil is largely irrelevant. How many people do you know are having oil related failures in engines? The ONLY oil related problems ive seen are due to failure to meet servicing intervals and people abiding by long drain intervals. Has anyone seen a mechanic standing over a blown up engine saying "oh this is another failure due to using a full sythetic branded group 3 oil instead of a full pao ester full synthetic" No. Its not happening. These group 3 synthetics are just fine and are cheaper. Calm down.
Gulf western SYN–X (especially SYN-X 5000/6000 series) is marketed as “full synthetic” but is primarily group 3 “hydro cracked” base stock not a true PAO/Esther sympathetic
Penrite HPR range is a group lll “full synthetic” oil not a true synthetic (group lV PAO or group V Esther – based
To be fair you done nulon dirty. I run nulon race 10w60, from all my research its arguably the best oil on the market. You gave penrite a pass but left nulon dirty. I was running fuchs prior to nulon, nulon got bought out by fuchs. My car is under extreme conditions making north of 1100hp Toyota 6 cylinder. Let me know if im wrong or have misread my research.

The service interval on my wife's Mustang is 15000Km. I do an oil change in between every service. We plan to keep that car a long time!
