No 250 2 stroke? That test was useless
This needed 2 more bikes. A 250 2 stroke and a regular 500 2 stroke, either KX or CR 500.

Being motocross bikes, most of them are limited by their gearing for the sake of acceleration. Just about every one could go faster with a little sprocket juggling. If you want to test for top speed, try this with dessert oriented bikes. They are designed to do 90 MPH or more. But I think you’re going to need a bigger field. Cheers 🍻
The sprocket gearing has a lot to do with the speed

This test doesn't mean much as the final sproket size can change everything, dirt bikes are not setup for speed but for acceleration and traction in dirt. Do those guys really know what they are talking about ?
with only a gearing change the 1984 KTM495 hit 123mph on a salt flat *edit* it was a 1983 model, not a 84
I had an 07 crf 450r that went 83 gps stock gearing and i also had a 18 crf 450r that went 86 gps stock gearing. And my 18 yz250x goes 79 gps stock gearing
