Hand tight and a little bit more is what I do on filters. It'll usually come off by hand as long as you don't go more than a quarter turn past hand tight.

Here in Mexico where I live, they charge me 150 Mexican pesos, like 13 or 14 dollars ✌️

Great work. Id recommend spraying solvent before putting the filter on. The solvent can destroy the ruvber gasket between the filter and the block before the engine even starts. Not saying it would, but its a possibility.
