The sway bar links are best tested under load not hanging in the air. If they’re really worn out yes you’ll feel it like this but if they only have a little play you can test it with putting a jackstand under de wheel lowering the car so the load is of that corner and test them again. Not saying you’re doing it wrong but just another way to really make sure they good😉
