Backrooms Ending Explained

So it's not a "Fungus" It's a bacterial colony. Specifically one that is trying to interpret anything it comes into contact with. In this case it appears to be learning from peoples memories and trying to create impressions of them. What's really funky is when Captain Clarke kills Clarke, Clarke bleeds a black fluid that looks like the bacteria, but when Captain Clarke is struck by the concrete, it bleeds red.

Why was Bobby's shirt he wore from the previous day down in the hoarder room of the back rooms. He picked it up and looked at it and recognized it was his shirt. It said fight apartheid or something

Whole time I thought the lady was raised in the backrooms and made it out. But then she was always in the backrooms and got found by the scientists. This could be a show like FROM/LOST

Someone earlider herein commented that Async built their HQ on the land that the psychiatrist's childhome was. Rather, at the end, I thought that her mother didn't/couldn't want to sell their home, as they were all alone, znd that moment when the door was being pushed in was the sheriff coming to evict them. Really original horror franchise in the making. EDIT: Also recall that the Async employee told the psychiatrist that they have detected "doors" opening up all over the place. The backrooms are layers of memories. We see the psychiatrist's childhome being stripped of layer and layer of what makes it a hime utni it;s just bare yellow walls. Memories. What could have been.

Well, for the back rooms, I think for the monsters of monstrous versions of the humans. They should kept it to the skin steakers, bacterial spiders, just things that look human from afar, but are evil, there's kind like what's going on in the back rooms, monsters flip in and they kind of hunt humans who go in there, too

She’s way too smart to get rid of. She’s going to end up working with them.

Older movies and shows like this subject used mirrors as gateways instead of walls . I think that would be way more creepy than the walls .

I love how it showed the time distortion through the shoes in the floor. Before he ever asked his crew, Bobby and Kat, to help him to explore the backrooms, he saw those shoes stuck in the floor. When he got them to help him and they entered, you saw the employees had on those very shoes.

great start. need the web series to expand on the different monsters.

If you didn't figure it out yet the movies won't be a completely different series it's actually just a continuation of his film series but also acts as a start for people who haven't seen the film series so it makes sense that we didn't see the bacteria bc we already have and if you picture this as a new episode in the film series this episode is one about introducing new characters and a new entity which is also why we didn't see the bacteria

When Clark put his wife hair on the therapist and was complaining to her i was dying 😭😭

I wished that this movie was 2u30-3u long, a movie like this with this concept van really use that extra time but that's my intentipretation
