I felt it was necessary to teach my children that we all have to talk to strangers throughout our lives but we should never go somewhere with a stranger.

Thats actually a really useful scenario to do. It gives the parent, and the kid particularly a example in the real world practice of what not to do, especially since he did go with him. He will remember this moment forever.

My mom is Brazilian, she used to tell me older people would kidnap me, cut my body in pieces and sell the parts in the black market 😂😂 I definitely would have ran back to her 😅
