If the mother refuses to pay, I would call the police on her. Why does she expect others to help pay. She did absolutely nothing to stop her daughter. At least that other woman tried to get her to stop.

my parents would have taken me straight to the manager before the staff even saw it and i would have had to tell them what i did then some horrible arrangement of how i would be paying the place for the paining would be made like me giving my allowance, doing extra chores every week plus helping gramma until it was fully paid off.
