It only took the death of the game to greenlight the greatest update we've seen

Makes me revaluate all of my frustrations towards the "We're Listening" responses. They really were listening. Their managers just weren't letting them take action on it.

This is the Forsaken of free updates. Absolute banger update. Such a bittersweet moment that this is the best, yet last update we will get.

God this update has extended the life of this game for me substantially.

they say dont be sad that its over, be happy that it happened. but man am i sad. ill see you in the last city guardiens.

They finally give us almost everything we want and they’re like, mic drop, I’m out. But no return of old campaigns 😔

Easily the single greatest quality of life update for any game ever. And this is just part 2 of 3. Next week is armor updates, abilities & more. Including even more secrets that they won’t tell us about that DmG tweeted

This would've saved the game if they just released it earlier...tragic, this update looks like its gonna bang reeeeeeal hard.

i hate this because it doesn't feel like a final update. I know it is, but it feels just like a good update they should have been allowed to cook up ages ago.

man… this is such a incredible update

Bungie has always capitalized on what should be dark moments for them. I.E. Prometheus lens being broken so the let us all have one for cheap. The LEGENDARY craftening incident and how they let us go crazy for what was somehow only one weekend(felt like so much longer). And now even when they are dying we get one of the biggest and best updates for free as a send off. Really love the guys and this game up and down. And this community is truly wonderful. 😢❤

The Artifacts 2.0 update is brilliant and absolutely game changing man holy shit.

D2 going out with a HUGE bang. Stopped playing after beating lightfall but, with all my old fireteam hopping back in, who am I to say no to one last hurrah? Im coming home, Ace...

Crazy how good this update looks but at least we are ending on a good note.

It makes me so sad that the devs knew what all of us wanted this whole time, but it took pulling the plug for the execs to greenlight it. This update singlehandly seems to be about to fix every major gripe ive had for a while. It’s super nice to see the team throw together what is essentially a love letter from them to us as the community. It turns out they were listening to us after all. 😢
