I saw him at the game just a few days ago. And now he died just a few days later. This is so sad. RIP Lemieux. He was one of the greatest. I do think attending and watching the game live was his way of saying goodbye.

I still can’t believe he killed himself—I bet ya CTE had somethin’ to do with his death too…that goddamn brain disease has eaten up so many enforcers in the last few years it’s crazy: live and rest Claude!! 🍁🕯️ Much love and respect from Buffalo …🍁🕯️

Canadians have to stop passing torches to players that knew how to win Stanley cups, the greatness is not gonna rub off on this team. These players from this generation are not Montreal Canadians, they're imposters, they do not know how to win. It's Not in their vocabulary, stop wasting your time.

Claude was a pain in every team's ass, and the the kind of player you need to win the Cup. My dad took his life years ago.

Looking at this now, I wonder if he was thinking about it even as he was carrying the torch. Honestly, such a sad situation.

Sad to hear he took his own life. You just never know what's going on inside someone's mind. R.I.P. Claude Lemieux.
